Taeyong is set to be the first member of NCT to make their solo debut.
Sports Chosun reported on May 4 that, “The NCT member is presently filming his song video and would release his debut solo album in early June.” In response, SM Entertainment stated, “Taeyong is getting ready to release his debut solo album in June. Please express great expectations and interest.”
Several NCT members Mark, Ten, Jaehyun, Taeil, and Doyoung, have already recorded solo songs but Taeyong will be the first member to formally make his solo debut with an album.
