Singer-songwriter Jamie has dropped the official music video for her latest single ‘Pity Party’.
Pity Party is an English track, which is a first for Jamie. The song talks about throwing yourself a ‘Pity Party’ and getting over the bad memories and negativity. The singer is talking about falling down all the way and now the only way is up. Along with that, the song carries an undertone of loving yourself, a trending theme in K-Pop these days. However, right from the vocals, to visuals, and to direction, it doesn’t scream your classic K-Pop song. There’s a high contrast of Jamie’s bold look against vintage backdrops. The song is definitely a different and fresh addition to our K-Pop playlist.
The song has garnered over 3.2 million views in 2 weeks and is receiving raving reviews and feedback. One thing is for sure, once you listen to the song it’s hard to not get addicted.
