Former SISTAR member Hyolyn’s comeback track ‘Layin’ Low’ has been pushed to next year.
On November 28, soloist Hyolyn tweeted on her official Twitter handle about the postponement of her much-anticipated comeback. The yet to drop single ‘Layin’ Low’ was initially scheduled for release on November 30, 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
Bridge Entertainment released an official announcement on November 28 and the track is expected to drop in January 2022, but no official dates have been released. In the announcement, the company revealed that they will greet fans with a special single for Christmas, which is to drop on December 22.

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to the fans for their keen interest in Hyolyn’s new song “Layin’ Low,” which was scheduled to be released on November 30. We decided to postpone the release date to January next year after much consideration to visit fans with higher completeness.
We ask for the understanding of fans who had waited a long time for Hyolyn, and we will visit you as soon as possible with a more complete.
Also, we will greet our fans first with a Christmas Special Single on December 22nd.

Her previous release was back on July 8 with the track ‘To Find a Reason’ featuring Mad Clown and Kim Seungmin. Earlier this year, the artist also released ‘Summer or Summer’ along with her fellow SISTAR member Dasom, making this the first track the former members collaborated for, since their disbandment.
In other news, Hyolyn was invited as the special guest for the K-POP India contest 2021, hosted by Korean Culture Centre India, and she also held an online concert which was co-hosted by Pink Box Entertainment.
