MCND Gets “Movin” To Complete a Secret Mission In Their Latest Comeback

It’s finally the day of the much-awaited comeback of MCND!

The boys are back with their third mini-album, ‘THE EARTH: SECRET MISSION Chapter.1’ with  ‘Movin’ as the title track. The MV features the members in a school bus, dressed up as students and they receive a secret mission via a phone call which they have to complete. The song is characterized by the same energy that fuels their title tracks and gets everyone grooving! The lyrics are about overcoming obstacles to keep moving forward. It is a hip-hop track with energetic beats, a thrilling chorus, and dynamic rapping and will get you movin’ right from the get-go.

 

 

 

The album consists of five other tracks in addition to the title track. Cat Waltz is a fun and cheerful dance song featuring soft rap and beautiful vocals. BowwowwoW has a more retro sound, with a funky vibe to it. Its catchy hook and bridge add to its charm. The fourth track is H.B.C, which is an abbreviation for ‘Honey Butter Chips’ and like its name, this is a crisp track with a flavour that is ‘just right’ like the snack. H.B.C mixes trap and electronic music to achieve a build-up with an extremely satisfying beat drop. ‘Play Pungak’ is also a catchy B-side which mixes traditional Korean music and hip-hop. The last track, REASON, is addressed to their fans (GEM) and is about how MCND misses their fans.

 

 

Overall ‘THE EARTH: SECRET MISSION Chapter.1’ is a bright, fresh, and melodic album that sets the tone for the upcoming albums in this new series. All the albums in the series revolve around a set of missions that they have to complete to meet GEM.
