Jang Wooyoung returns with his 3rd mini-album ‘I’m into’!
On September 15 at 6 P.M. KST (2:30 P.M. IST), Jang Wooyoung of JYP Entertainment‘s boy group 2PM made his long-awaited return to the music scene with his third mini-album, ‘I’m into’. This marks his second solo release of the year, including his summer digital single ‘Simple Dance.’
JYP Entertainment’s official YouTube channel also released the music video for the album’s title track, ‘Think Too Much (Feat. 다민이 [DAMINI]),’ featuring rapper DAMINI. The MV incorporates a colorful visual theme bringing a fresh perspective amongst the much prevalent dark hip-hop aesthetics of present day K-pop. The song itself showcases relatable lyrics with themes of over-thinking, hesitation and uncertainty that cloud and delay decision making especially when it comes to expressing love.
The album features total of 5 tracks, ‘Carpet’, ‘Think Too Much’, ‘늪(She is)’, ‘Reality’, and ‘홈캉스 (Homecance)’, with Wooyoung being credited as a singer-songwriter for all of them. The mini-album, long in the making, marks Jang Wooyoung’s return as a solo artist after seven years, following the release of his second mini-album, ‘BYE’ in 2018.
Jang Wooyung is also set to hold his solo concert ‘2025 Jang Wooyoung Concert [Half Half]’ in Seoul, on September 27-28.
