SBS has officially announced the dates for the highly anticipated 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer. This year’s event will take place on July 26 and 27 at the KINTEX 1 Exhibition Center. Following its successful debut last year, the summer edition of the renowned Gayo Daejeon will return on an even larger scale with a more diverse lineup.
First launched in 1996, Gayo Daejeon has traditionally been a year-end music festival. However, starting last year, SBS made waves by announcing plans to host the event twice a year, with the inaugural SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer taking place in 2024. This year’s festival promises an even more exciting experience for K-pop fans and global audiences alike.
In a significant development, SBS has partnered with NOL Universe, a travel and culture platform, to expand Gayo Daejeon Summer into a full-fledged ‘Summer Festival.’ The collaboration will offer attendees not only amazing performances but also a full festival atmosphere, making it a unique experience for attendees of all ages. Beyond the main music stages, the festival will feature a variety of activities, including a K-content experience zone and interactive programs to foster communication between artists and fans.
The 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer is said to be a multi-genre celebration of music, culture, and entertainment. Fans attending the event can look forward to a special, immersive experience that extends far beyond the performances, with a festival space designed for maximum enjoyment.
